What could be better than tender Camembert cheese? Only baked camembert with garlic and rosemary! This is a delicious and tender appetizer that can be prepared quickly and easily. And if you add bacon in puff pastry to this cheese, you get a full-fledged non-trivial dinner.
Ingredients:
- Camembert cheese – 120-200 gr.
- Bacon – 150 gr.
- Puff pastry
- Mustard
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Egg – 1 pc.
- Rosemary – twig
Cooking process
1 From puff pastry form two circles with a diameter of 25-28 cm. In one of the circles cut a hole the size of Camembert cheese, and leave the other circle intact.
Place the cheese in the center of the circle. Brush the dough with mustard. Spread bacon slices in a circle.
Cover with the second circle of dough on top, in which a hole was made. Make cuts in a circle. From each obtained segment, form a wrapped breadsticks with bacon inside. Brush them well with an egg.
Make small cuts on the cheese and insert rosemary and garlic slices into them.
Bake the resulting “sun” in an oven preheated to 200 C (395 F) degrees. Baking time about 12 minutes. The dough should brown well.
The baked camembert is very tender and stretchy. You need to eat this dish warm, dipping wrapped breadsticks with bacon in cheese.
