Bright, summer, light, with an interesting flavor combination. And all these qualities are incorporated into a strawberries salad with basil and spinach. It is also tasty and healthy. This salad, in my opinion, is a great option for dinner on a hot summer day.
Ingredients (for 2 servings):
- Fresh baby spinach
- Fresh basil
- Strawberries – 10 pcs.
- Mozzarella – 50 gr.
- Red onion – quarter onion
- Olive oil – 3 tsp
- Balsamic sauce – 2 tsp
- Lemon juice or wine vinegar – 1 tsp
- Ground black pepper – a pinch
Cooking process
1 Wash spinach, basil and strawberries thoroughly. Cut the strawberries into 3-4 pieces. The mozzarella balls can be left intact or split in half.
Cut the red onion into thin half rings. Pour lemon juice or wine vinegar on the onion. Leave it to marinate for 5 minutes. As a result, the onion acquires a slight sourness and unpleasant bitterness leaves.
2 Proceed to assemble the ingredients together. Put the spinach leaves and basil. Put strawberries, onions and mozzarella on top. Pour with vegetable oil and balsamic sauce. You can also pepper with freshly ground black pepper.
Delicious and gourmet strawberries salad ready! This salad and a glass of chilled white wine (or champagne) are in perfect harmony with each other.
