Carrot and orange salad

Do you think to cook such an easy, fresh and unusual, but at the same time from available ingredients? Then this bright carrot and orange salad with mint is what you need!

For its preparation, the simplest products are needed. And the result is a delicious juicy salad with pleasant aromatic notes.

Carrot and orange salad with mint
Ingredients (for 2 person):
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Orange – 1 pc.
  • Fresh mint – to taste
  • Zira – pinch
  • Olive oil (or other vegetable oil)
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt
Cooking process

Carrots are pilled and grated them using any method you prefer. You can use a grater or a vegetable peeler. Then you get long and beautiful carrot strands.

Peel the orange and divide into wedges (segments). Clean each segments from the white membranes and cut into small pieces.

Wash mint, dry and chop.

Gently mix all prepared ingredients. Salt lightly. Now you can pour a little orange juice on the salad. Add vegetable oil and mix again. At the end, if desired and to taste, you can add freshly ground black pepper.

Our ready-made carrot and orange salad can be decorated with a mint leaves.

The quantity and proportions of the ingredients can be adjusted according to your taste.
