I think that the best sausages are of course homemade. This delicious homemade garlic sausage is very easy to prepare. It needs the simplest and most affordable ingredients: pork belly and garlic, salt, pepper, vegetable oil and a casings.
Ingredients:
- Pork belly – 800 gr.
- Garlic – 2 heads
- Vegetable oil – 5-6 tbsp.
- Black ground pepper – 1.5 tsp
- Salt – 1.5 tsp.
- Pork casing
- Twine
Cooking process
Cut the pork belly into small cubes (1.5 * 1.5 cm.). Garlic cut into small pieces. Add black ground pepper and salt. All is well mixed. The resulting minced meat is left overnight in the refrigerator.
2 Wash the casing and soak for 20 minutes in warm water.
3 We put the casing on the tap and pass water through it. Next, let’s start stuffing it. I do this through a meat grinder using special attachments for making sausages.
Tie the resulting sausage with twine.
4 Fry the sausage on both sides until golden brown. Next, pour 3 cups of water into the pan, cover with a lid and simmer the sausage over low heat until the liquid evaporates.
The second way to prepare this sausage is to bake in the oven for an hour. With this method of preparation, it turns out drier.
And the third option is to cook on the grill.
Ready-made garlic sausage served chilled.
