Chocolate Peanut Butter Muffins are a delightful combination of flavors. The peanut butter adds a rich, nutty zest, while the chocolate provides bursts of sweetness in every bite. These muffins are soft, slightly moist, and just firm enough, with the added bonus of being incredibly easy to make. In just 30 minutes, you can have a delicious treat ready for tea or coffee!

Ingredients (makes 12–14 muffins):
- All-purpose flour – 1 2/3 cups (200 g)
- Milk – 3/4 cup (180 ml)
- Peanut butter – 2/3 cup (150 g)
- Chocolate (chopped or chocolate chips) – 1 cup (150 g)
- Sugar – 1/2 cup (100 g)
- Melted butter – 2 heaping tablespoons (30 g)
- Egg – 1 large
- Baking powder – 2 teaspoons
- Salt – a pinch
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Batter
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg with the sugar. Add peanut butter, melted butter, and milk. Mix well using a whisk or electric mixer.
Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Step 2: Add Chocolate
Fold in the chopped chocolate or chocolate chips gently, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Tip: You can also use melted chocolate instead of chunks if you prefer a smoother texture

Step 3: Bake the Muffins
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full with batter.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Tip: Do not overbake, or the muffins may turn out dry.

Step 4: Serve and Store
Allow muffins to cool slightly, then optionally sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
