Chocolate-nut cookies

Today I want to share the recipe of a delicious delicacy with pieces of chocolate and nuts. This chocolate-nut cookies can be easily and quickly cooked. Ingredients, which are part of it, are always at hand. The main thing is to use quality products, and then the result will definitely please you. This is especially true of butter and chocolate, because they are the basis of our cookies.

Ingredients (for 8 pieces):

  • Butter – 100 g.
  • Wheat flour – 75 grams.
  • Whole grain flour – 50 grams.
  • Sugar – 80 grams.
  • Egg – 1 piece
  • Cocoa – 25 grams.
  • Chocolate dark – 100 grams.
  • Nuts (any) – 50 g.
  • Milk – 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder – 0.5 tsp
  • Salt – pinch

Сooking process

1 First of all, turn on the oven. And heat it to 190 C (375 F) degrees.

2 Now you can start directly cooking cookies. Beat the softened butter and sugar with a mixer. In this case, an air mass should be obtained. Add an egg to this mass and continue beating until a smooth, fluffy consistency.

Pour the milk and mix everything well.

3 Then sift into the resulting mass flour of two kinds. Then add baking powder, cocoa and salt. Stir everything.

4 It remains only to add chocolate and nuts to the dough. They should be cut with a knife into pieces of medium size. Pour the pieces of chocolate and nuts into the dough and mix everything gently.

I prefer to add bitter chocolate (72 percent). You can add milk chocolate, but then you should reduce the amount of sugar by 15-20 grams. Nuts can also be any. I especially like the combination of almonds and walnuts and chocolate. In general, the choice of chocolate and nuts can be guided by their taste preferences.

5 All – our cookie dough is ready. It turns out to be quite sticky, so put it on a baking tray comfortably with a spoon.

Put the dough on a baking sheet with a tablespoon. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper. We leave small gaps between the cookies, as the dough spreads a little during baking.

From the resulting ingredients I get 8 pieces of cookies with a diameter of 8-10 cm.

Bake our cookies for 15 minutes in a preheated oven.

The finished chocolate-nut cookies are soft and slightly buttery. I advise you to eat these cookies warm. When it’s warm, then the chocolate pieces just melt in your mouth!
