Today I want to suggest you to cook two types of dessert bruschetta with camembert cheese. Bruschetta with Camembert is the perfect finish to a delicious lunch or dinner. The base will be the same – dried ciabatta and camembert cheese. But the additives-fillings to them are different.
Ingredients:
- Ciabatta (or French baguette)
- Camembert cheese or brie cheese – 1 pc. (125 gr.)
- Cherries – 1 glass
- Sugar – 1.5 tbsp.
- Balsamic vinegar – 3 tbsp.
- Balsamic sauce
- Vanilla extract – pinch
- Raspberries
- Walnuts
- Honey
Cut the ciabatta into 1-1.5 cm thick slices. Toast the bread in a dry pan or grill. The ciabatta should be crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.
Cut Camembert cheese into thin slices.
Bruschetta with camembert and cherry
For such a bruschetta, you will need to prepare a balsamic cherry. I immediately prepare a small jar of such cherries and store them in the refrigerator. It is a very versatile addition to many dishes. It can be added to meats, cheeses, French toast and ice cream.
Wash the cherries and remove the seeds from the berries. Put the cherries, sugar, balsamic vinegar and vanilla extract in a saucepan. Put the saucepan on low heat and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. We are waiting for the sugar to completely melt and remove the stewpan from the heat. At the end, you can add a little more starch to give a thick consistency. Let the cherry sauce cool completely.
Put cheese and cherries on a slice of ciabatta. Gently pour balsamic sauce on top.
Bruschetta with camembert and cherry is ready!
Bruschetta with raspberries and walnuts
Put the camembert cheese on a slice of still warm ciabatta. Put fresh raspberries on top and sprinkle with walnuts. Pour honey on top.
A quick, tasty and very effective snack is ready!
