I recently published an interesting recipe for a delicious salad with strawberries and basil https://takajaeda.com/en/recipes-en/salad-with-strawberries-and-basil/. Today I want to share one more salad with this berry. But in this recipe, she no longer plays a major role. In this dish, it just adds an interesting flavoring twist. I love to discover some interesting new product combinations. And this salad with tomatoes and strawberries is just interesting for me with such an unusual combination.
Ingredients (for 2 servings):
- Tomatoes – 1 large
- Paneer cheese – 50 gr.
- Strawberries – 6-8 berries (preferably sour)
- Arugula – a handful
- Iceberg lettuce – handful
- Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp.
- Balsamic sauce
- Ground black pepper – a pinch
- Salt to taste
Cooking process
1 Wash the tomatoes, strawberries, arugula and iceberg lettuce well. It is better to choose strawberries for this salad not very sweet, with sourness.
2 Cut the paneer cheese into small cubes. I advise you to use this particular cheese, not Feta cheese. Since the second is saltier and strongly draws attention to itself in such a delicate salad.
Cut the tomatoes into medium-sized pieces. Also cut the Iceberg lettuce.
3 Put all the ingredients on a plate. Pour with vegetable oil and balsamic sauce. Pepper to taste.
An interesting salad with tomatoes and strawberries is ready. Bon Appetit!
